Inspired by a sunny summer afternoon in the garden with a stack of books by my side. I was trying to pick just 1 of many books to read next and then spotted 3 female fairy wrens and a blue male fairy wren jumping around in the Zinnea flowers nearby. I sat and watched the birds jump about the flowers until they flew off. It was lovely! Naturally I completely forgot about it for weeks, but when I finally remembered I drew the illustration as a reminder of a relaxed afternoon. 😊️ Hope you like it too!
